Joachim Domide was born in Timisoara, Romania on the 7th of December 1947 as a son　
of a famous doctor, Dr. Leon Domide, which had a strong passion and contact to the musical life. 
In his youth, Joachim Domide began to study the piano and later he discovered a passion 
for the cello. Domide graduated from the Music highschool "Ion Vidu" in Timisoara　and in 1971 
he continued his studies at the Music Academy " Georghe Dima" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. 
Domide have been living　in Switzerland since 1974. In 1980 he fell in love with this 
new instrument. Self-taught he learned in a veryshort time to play the Panpipe with passion. 
In 1984 Domide founded his own Panpipe School, as well as the DOMIDE Music Edition　
in Uster, Switzerland and a Panpipe Construction Studio. All these years Domide collaborated 
with famous International　 music personalities, like: Benone Damian, Nicolae Pirvu, 
George Ciolac, Cornel Pana,Catalin Tircolea,and many others.
Domide has performed concerts　in many countries around world. 
One of Domide's greatest highlights was performing　in a Gala Concert, together with the 
Philharmonic Orchestra of Arad, Romania and Mr. Emil Constantinescu, 
the Romanian President. With these International successes, Domide is motivated to work hard 
for　the futureand to expand the Romanian culture in the world, especially the Panpipe.
